The tags on an opportunity describe specifically what it is.
Tags are divided in a hierarchy under categories, each of which fall under an area. Categories group tags into those that target a specific audience or help with a specific area of life. Areas are high-level groupings that loosely map to needs in life.
It’s preferable for an opportunity to have just one or two tags that specifically categorize it, rather than a more generalized approach, where any possible applicable tag is added. This tends to prevent more irrelevant opportunities from appearing in search results.
For the purposes of our taxonomy, we say there are 8 “life areas,” each of which has several categories and, subsequently, tags.
